While site Member/Users typically input their own personal and profile information by use of the registration form on the "public" side of the Web site, the site administrator has control over all Member/User information and Member/User privileges. Even though registered, a site Member/User has NO publishing privileges until the site administrator grants them to him.
The Manage Teams administration functions of the Portal site administrator include:
* Member/User profile categories - basic information about a Member/User, such as title, country of residence, date of birth, employment status, etc.
* Member/User login names & passwords
* Member/User email list preferences - topics of interest Member/Users may choose to participate in for receiving periodic mailings from the Portal site
* Member/User/organization relationships - associating a Member/User with a club, church, school, business or organization, so that the Member/User may maintain site content on behalf of the organization
* Adding/updating/deleting registered Member/Users - the initial set-up of a Member/User, updating Member/User information, deleting a Member/User, and activating/deactivating a Member/User's ability to self-publish his personal content, and content of an organization he may be associated with.
Registered Member/Users may have the following privileges and capabilities, depending on the modules installed on the Portal site:
* Ability to input, edit, and delete their own classified ads, resumes, and Member/User Web sites
* Ability to create and maintain a "personalized page" - a summary of links for personal quick reference to the Portal site's content areas
* Ability to act as "agent" for maintaining an organization's or business's information on the site - its content listings in UBZ2 Directory, News & Articles, Calendars, e-Mall, Newsletters, etc.
